The Bill of Rights in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa lists seven non-derogable rights.

As we commemorate the death of 69 peaceful protestors from Sharpeville in 1960, we take a look at what the Bill of Rights says about non-derogable rights.

Chapter 2 of the Constitution of South Africa speaks of different human rights afforded to its citizens. Among these rights are seven non-derogable rights. Two of these rights cannot be tempered with. Watch the video below:
