The trial of former president Jacob Zuma and co-accused – French arms company Thales – is set to resume at the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday.
Last Friday, the court dismissed their application for a permanent stay of prosecution
The charges date back to 2005 and both Zuma and Thales blame the state for unfair delays in the prosecution process. Zuma also argued that the decision to charge him was politically motivated.
