The country’s top three political parties are facing off at the Johannesburg City Council as a new mayor is being elected. The ANC’s Johannesburg region chair Geoff Makhubo, the DA’s Mayoral committee member for finance, Funzela Ngobeni and the EFF’s Johannesburg regional chair, Musa Novela are the candidates that are in the race for the position.
