Chairperson of the African National Congress’s Subcommittee on Organisational Development, Fikile Mbalula, says sharp weaknesses have been identified in the ruling party through its diagnosis and self-introspection. He was addressing media in Johannesburg on the party’s policy document on Organisation Renewal ahead of the elective conference next week. Mbalula says a number of weaknesses have been highlighted including abuse of state power and factionalism. He says these challenges need to be addressed during the conference.
