[WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT] Body of a one-year-old child found in Phake village, Mpumalanga

Police say a mutilated body of a one-year old girl has been found by community members at nearby bushes at Rebone Section of Phake village in Mpumalanga.

The child was last seen with her mother in the early hours of Christmas eve.
The infant was reported missing two days later.
The police who were alerted of the gruesome discovery found the missing toddler’s clothes, as well as, her internal body parts next to her mortal remains.
The mother of the child is nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, the Witbank Magistrate’s Court in Mpumalanga has postponed the  murder case of Patricia Mabojane Kutu and her alleged accomplices, Vincent Langa and Peter Ndabezitha, to the 3rd of January for a formal bail application.
The three are accused of killing former police officer Christopher Kutu, who was the accused’s husband.
The first accused Vincent Langa has decided to abandoned his bail application.
The three were arrested following an intensive investigations by the Hawks after the death of police officer Christopher Kutu of the Witbank Tactical Response Team.
Kutu was fatally shot at his house in July this year.
Police investigation linked Kutu’s wife Patracia Mabojane Kutu to the murder.
The state mentioned that more chargers could be added to the accused  at a later stage. This after police discovered three automatic firearms in their possession.
The bail application in respect of Mabojane Kutu and Ndabezitha will be heard on January 3. Vincent Langa will return to court on 11 February 2022.
