Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan will have a tough challenge of curbing the increasing wage bill, according to Labour and Mining analyst Mamogethi Molopyane, ahead of his Budget speech.
Gordhan will at 2pm on Wednesday deliver his 2017 Budget Speech in Parliament.
Molopyane believes Gordhan will have to juggle retrenchment packages as well as look at ways of curbing the increasing public sector wage.
