In this week’s Global COVID-19 Wrap, SABC News captures highlights from the African continent, Europe, Asia, and the Americas – as the number of confirmed infections worldwide is currently at over 6 million with more than 2,6 million recoveries and deaths well over 300 000.
As of 30 May, South Africa’s confirmed cases are at 30 967. Deaths have risen to 643.
On the rest of the continent, 52 African Union Member States have so far reported 132 391 cases, 3 820 deaths and 55 263 recoveries.
