South African non-profit-organisation Warriors of Wildlife, has rescued and relocated two lions from Ukraine.

A South African non-profit organisation, Warriors of Wildlife, has rescued and relocated two lions from Ukraine before they became casualties of the conflict.

The lions, Mira and Simba, found a new home in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape where they are housed at the Simbonga Game Reserve and Sanctuary.
