Music group Urban Village recently released their EP titled Ubaba.
The project’s video was shot by filmmaker Justice Mukheli and follows life in the many Soweto hostels that housed black male South Africans in the 1900s, forcibly separated from their families whilst working in the city’s mines.
Urban Village’s music is a blend of cultures and marries different sounds which show their versatility.
