Ragani Achary Your passing has left me numb. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to talk about your contribution to my career. For now I will just sit here and try to make sense of this. ?

Her long-time colleague and friend, Kenny Maistry, remembers their time together in the broadcast industry.
“Ragani could lift up a room just with her smile and she had this beautiful belly laugh and was always a fun person, though she was a news journo and these people are exposed to serious things every day and it can get to you you know. But Ragani rose above that and she was a very caring person. I remember when she messaged me on the day of my mom’s funeral last year. And then the next weekend when I was back on air, she once again messaged me. And that really is a testimony of who she was as a person. Yes, a consent professional as a journalist and a news person but at the same time what a wonderful human being.”
