One of the world’s most popular Christian singers, Michael W. Smith, is heading to South Africa.
The highly acclaimed American musician will perform in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town early next month.
Due to public demand, a second performance has been scheduled for the Arena at the GrandWest casino in Goodwood.
This is Smith and his band’s fourth tour of the country in recent years.
The popular singer, who has a career spanning almost 40 years, has sold approximately R20-million albums worldwide.
Smith has won – among others – three Grammy Awards, 45 GMA Dove Awards, and an American Music Award.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers describes him as the “cornerstone of Christian music”.
