The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) and the South African Cabin Crew Association will be picketing at various airports around the country on Tuesday.

The protest is against issues currently experienced at South African Airways (SAA) and SAA Technical (SAAT).

This includes the recent resignation of the Group Chief Executive Officer Vuyani Jarana, corruption of SAAT management and problems in the maintenance department.

Other issues include allegations of nepotism, tribalism and corruption of the HR manager at SAAT.

Pickets will take place at King Shaka International Airport in Durban, OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, the Cape Town International Airport and airports across East London.
