Britain’s King Charles III has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Monday.
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he wishes his majesty a full and speedy recovery.
Charles III, 75, formerly known as The Prince of Wales, became King following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022.
King Charles left the hospital having spent three nights there receiving planned treatment for an enlarged prostate.
He was pictured smiling and waving after attending church with his wife Queen Camilla on Sunday, his first public outing since his hospital treatment.
I am saddened to have heard about His Majesty The King’s diagnosis. I know that the Jewish communities of Great Britain and the Commonwealth will join me in wishing him a Refuah Sheleima – a complete and swift recovery. https://t.co/k35znR9R7p
