The United Democratic Movement (UDM) says it expects Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan to give details of the restructuring of non-strategic assets to be earmarked for privatisation.
This they say would generate much needed revenue. The UDM is calling for a debate in the country about non-core state assets.
Gordhan must tell the nation in his budget speech today how growth will be achieved, recession averted and a downgrade avoided.
Chief Whip Nqabayomzi Kwanka explains, “In the country especially when one considers that you have a president that keep on putting his mouth in his footing everything he talks to the media bout what the country needs to do.”
