United Democratic Movement supporters have begun arriving for its manifesto launch, ahead of the May elections.

Party president, Bantu Holomisa, will address supporters at the Isaac Wolfson stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The UDM’s Chief Whip, Nqabayomzi Kwankwa, has called on people in the Eastern Cape to participate in the event, which is due to begin soon.

“The busses have started arriving from the different provinces with people who are joining us for the manifesto launch. We are going to see a lot of activity here. There will be artists to entertain our people.”

“… we are focussing on our core message on building a united, democratic and non-sexist SA. Our slogan for this year centres around dignity and prosperity for all. We are saying we have to take active steps to address past imbalances, deal with inequality and poverty in SA and address those issues that deal with job creation in the country.”
