Two taxi operators allegedly gunned down in Pienaarsrivier

Two taxi operators were allegedly shot and killed by unknown suspects in Pienaarsrivier, in the Waterberg District, in Limpopo.

Police Spokesperson, Motlafela Mojapelo says the bodies of the two taxi operators were found with bullets wounds inside the motor vehicle on Saturday.

He says no arrest has been made in connection with the two killings.

“The police in Pienaarsrivier, in the Waterberg District, seek urgent information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects allegedly involved in the killing of two taxi operators whose bodies were found with bullets wounds inside the motor vehicle at Pankop-Pienarsrivier T-junction. It is believed that the victims were driving from a funeral at Phake village when they were attacked by unknown assailants at the intersection,” says Mojapelo.
