Two suspects have been fatally wounded in a shoot-out with police at KwaMashu Hostel, north of Durban.
It’s alleged that the two had been among the four suspects linked to an attempted hijacking at Avoca, north of Durban -Thursday night.
A 40-year-old man was killed after he stopped to buy fresh produce from a roadside hawker.
The suspects were traced during the early hours of Friday morning.
While they attempted to flee from police, an exchange of gunshots ensued.
The search for the two remaining suspects continues.
