Two people have been killed after the vehicle they were travelling in slammed into a wall in Midrand on Friday night.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) Spokesperson, Wayne Minaar has urged motorists to obey all the rules of the road and avoid road carnage this festive season.
Minnaar says, the driver will be charged.
“Two people died in a motor vehicle accident last night when a driver of a blue Mazda 6 collided with a wall in Midrand. The two deceased were both passengers from the vehicle and were removed to Hillbrow mortuary. The driver was slightly injured and will be charged for culpable homicide. Motorists are urged not to drive recklessly this festive season,” says Minnaar.
