Reading Time: < 1 minute

Two children aged five and seven are still fighting for their lives after sustaining serious burn wounds following the petrol bombing of the house they were sleeping in, in Mvelaphanda village, outside Vuwani, in Limpopo.

Another five-year-old child died while the children’s grandmother has been discharged from hospital.

A family feud allegedly triggered the incident which took place last month.

The mother of the children Ntambudzeni Tshikosi says, “We have a person we suspect is responsible for the incident and we told the police and they told us we have a strong case and they will arrest but all in vain. The suspect told me before that there will be death in the family and after that this incident took place and as a result we suspect she has a case to answer but police are doing nothing about it.”
