TUT urges prospective students to apply online

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has advised prospective students that it still has space in some fields of study.

However, it says those wishing to study at the institution must make use of the online application system as it will not accept walk-ins.

Most universities have already indicated they will not accept any further applications due to unavailability of space.

TUT spokesperson Willa de Ruyter says, “The TUT’s online application system will be open again from Monday. Students who haven’t applied yet can access the system on www.tut.ac.za to check available space in courses. In a number of courses there is still space available and we would like to once again urge students not to come to campus to apply. They can only apply via the online system.”

However, the TUT’s online registration could face some challenges as the university online application page is currently down.
