Tshwane Emergency Services says two more bodies have been recovered bringing the number of fatalities to four as a result of flash floods over the weekend.
On Monday, a body was recovered in Centurion while another at Soul City informal settlement in Mamelodi.
The rain caused havoc in Gauteng, especially in Tshwane with intense flash floods.
Many have been relocated to community halls in various areas.
Tshwane Emergency Spokesperson, Charles Mabaso says today they recovered a body of a man believed to be the driver of the SUV that was stuck near the Centurion Lake Hotel.
“Today, two bodies were recovered; one in centurion believed to be the driver of the Audi SUV that was washed away and trapped at the Centurion Lake Hotel. The second one is the man whose boat was swept over the dam wall at the Roodeplat Dam.”
