DStv Premiership rookies, TS Galaxy, have roped in former Highlands Park Coach, Owen da Gama, on a three-year deal.
Da Gama will coach the struggling Galaxy for the remaining 20 matches of the 2020/2021 season, following the dismissal of Dan Malisela as well as interim coach, Zipho Dlangalala, following a string of losses.
He says the history of the team is what excited him.
“I have been approached by one or two PSL teams, and I was not really convinced in joining any of these teams. But when you look at the history of TS Galaxy, you can see the ambition of winning such a big cup in the NFD. That’s a great achievement. You look at the social media of this club, you can see the ambition from a mile away and Tim is not only my boss but we’ve come a long way,” says Owen da Gama.
