Trompies member Emmanuel ‘Mjokes’ Matsane to be laid to rest at Westpark Cemetery

The funeral service of Kwaito star and Trompies member, Emmanuel Matsane, will take place in Soweto on Saturday morning. He will be buried at the Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.

Matsane passed away in a car crash last week Sunday while returning to his Soweto home after a performance with the group on Saturday evening, according to record company Kalawa Jazmee Records.

Mjokes, as he was affectionately known, leads the Trompies’ popular song, Sweety Lavo.

His memorial service was held at baseline in Newtown Johannesburg on Thursday.

He has been remembered as a family man who was versatile in his craft. He will be buried at the Westpark cemetery in Johannesburg.
