Tributes are pouring in for SABC soccer analyst, David Kekana, who has passed away. He was admitted to the Netcare Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, following a heart attack last Monday. He was 47 years old.
Kekana worked as an analyst his whole career, starting at SuperSport and then with the SABC since 2001.
His friends and colleagues have paid tribute to an affable friendly man, always ready with a story and a laugh.
Commentator Thabiso Tema says he had a smile that lit up a room. Sympathies have also been extended to his family by the Minister of Sports Minister, Nathi Mthethwa.
