Emergency services are currently treating people on the scene where a passenger train has burst into flames after allegedly colliding with a truck between Henneman and Kroonstad in the Free State.
Initial reports suggest that more than 100 may be injured.
The train, believed to be the well-known Shosholoza Meyl holiday train, was packed with vacationers travelling from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg.
