Lethebo Rabalago is facing five assault charges for an incident that allegedly happened in November last year.

Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie are expected to appear in the High Court in Johannesburg on Tuesday morning for their pre-trial hearing.

The twins were arrested in July last year for plotting a series of attacks on the Jewish and the US embassies.

They have been charged with conspiracy and incitement to commit terror-related crimes and they have spent more than a year behind bars.

During a previous appearance the court heard that the twins have raised a Constitutional challenge to the charges they face and the legislation on which they are being prosecuted.

They want the Constitutional Court to give more direction into the matter.

It’s understood that the twins attempted to travel to Syria to fight for the Islamic State and Tony-Lee communicated with the terrorist group to learn how to build bombs for terrorist attacks in South Africa.
