Three new COVID-19-related deaths reported in SA

There have been 1 475 new COVID-19 infections reported in South Africa on Tuesday, according to the most recent National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) report.  Three fatalities have also been reported during this reporting period, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 100 195 since the virus was first identified in March 2020.

14 900 tests were taken in the last 24-48 hours showing a 9.9% positivity rate.
