Three people have died and another three were wounded in a shooting incident in Joubert Park in Johannesburg Thursday night.
Netcare911 spokesperson Tebogo Magoro says the three wounded men were treated by paramedics who had been called to the scene.
“One sustained a flesh wound to the arm, one a superficial injury to the head and the other multiple gunshot wounds to the lower leg. Only two were transported to hospital for further treatment. Three other men were unfortunately declared dead on scene due to fatal injuries sustained. The reasons for the shootout are not yet known to our Netcaree 911 paramedics. The SAPS was on scene investigating the incident. “
