With just under 4 hours before polls close (as of 5pm CAT), South African’s have already anticipated the release of the election results. This according to Google Trends.
As thousands of voters go to the polls before voting stations close at 9pm, Google trends show that more than 20 000 searches are those relating to Election results.

Other major searches include Voting stations near me, Can I vote without registering as well as where can I vote, amongst other searches.
Results will be available on the SABC News elections website, from later tonight. The website will give people the ability to track their party performance and vote counting. The SABC is also working with the CSIR to bring you results predictions.
