While unemployment in South Africa stands around 27%, two young graduates from Mbombela in Mpumalanga are determined to change their fate. They are turning trash into income with recycled materials.

Vuyelwa Mhoni and her friend started a recycling company after being unemployed for years.

The 28-year-old is passionate about the environment and the development of the youth.
