Ten suspects arrested in connection with the armed robbery at the Malamulele police station are expected to appear in the local Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo on Monday.
The suspects who are allegedly linked to more than 100 offences in Limpopo allegedly attacked the police station and stole cash and firearms in November last year.
They allegedly stole fourteen firearms and R16 000 during the robbery at the police station.
The suspects allegedly committed nine offences in the vicinity of Malamulele police station on the same night they allegedly committed the armed robbery at the station.
The crimes include armed robbery at some local stores, murder and car hijacking. They are suspects in more than 100 crimes, including ATM bombings, car hijacking, murder, attempted murder and illegal possession of firearms.

Shortly after the armed robbery, Police Minister Bheki Cele said they need to put extra effort into arresting a group of suspects.
In December 2021, Cele visited the police station as part of the safer festive season operation.
During his visit, Cele expressed his unhappiness that no arrest had been made four weeks after the incident.
