A 14-year-old girl will appear in the George Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday on charges of murder.
The teenager is accused of stabbing to death a 15-year-old schoolboy in Thembalethu on Monday.
Police spokesperson Dumile Gwavu says the victim was taken to Kuyasa clinic where he died.
He says, “The reason for the stabbing is not known and they are not in a relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend and the knife was recovered at the scene.”
Meanwhile, seven people were murdered in the George area last weekend.
