Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has been named as the Proximus Player of the Season in Belgium’s second division.
The awards took place at ceremony on Monday night.
Tau was snapped up by English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion after a successful season with Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

“It is really unbelievable how he adapted to European football. There was a lot said when he left but this is his second player of the season award. When he left the country he was also the best player in the country before going to Belgium. A lot of people were not sure how he was going to adapt to European football even though there was no doubt about his skill.”
