Total shutdown postponed to Friday

Community leaders from all so-called coloured communities in Gauteng are currently meeting with a group calling itself the Gauteng Shutdown Co-ordinating Committee, at Eldorado Park in Johannesburg to discuss Monday’s total shutdown.

Johannesburg Metro police have been patrolling the area over the weekend and the situation has been calm.
