The third bail application of Pastor Timothy Omotoso is expected to continue at the Port Elizabeth High Court on Thursday.
Pastor Timothy Omotoso remains a prohibited person in the country. The state prosecutor in the bail application of the pastor, adv Nceba Ntelwa, confirmed it through an official from the Department of Home Affairs.
The state in the Pastor Omotoso rape case says there’s a strong possibility that the accused would be deported if he is granted bail.
The Investigating Officer in Timothy Omotoso’s case insists that the pastor should not get bail as he and his supporters have intimidated the investigating team and some state witnesses.
The bail application of pastor Timothy Omotoso is expected to resume in the High Court in Port Elizabeth on Monday. It was postponed last week.
