Police are investigating a murder case after three people were killed in a fire at Edlebe near Ulundi in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
The family of the slain sangoma, Anele Hoyana says they are saddened about his brutal murder. Hoyana was allegedly bludgeoned to death by farmer Fritz Joubert near Gonubie in East London.
Police say they are trying to establish the motive for the attacks in an incident where a 22-year-old man allegedly killed his mother, his four-year-old sister and injured his two siblings by stabbing them.
