Police have managed to contain the situation in Tembisa, east of Johannesburg following another looting incident.
Business owners whose shops were looted in Malvern east of Johannesburg this morning are counting their losses. An estimated 50 shops have been looted and more than 50 vehicles burnt after a group of people went on a rampage.
Twelve people have been arrested after being found looting a shop in Malvern, east of Johannesburg.
Foreign-owned shops in Gauteng have again come under attack, this time in Jeppestown, in the Johannesburg CBD on Sunday morning.
