People who use illuminating paraffin for heat and light are facing a steep price hike from midnight tonight. The Energy Department has announced big jumps in fuel prices on the back of steep increases in oil prices. Illuminating paraffin goes up by a massive R2.85; petrol price by as much as R1.72 and diesel by up to R1.73.
The Automobile Association (AA) is predicting a significant petrol price increase of R1, 73 a litre from Wednesday, July 1st.
