Convicted child rapist Nicholas Ninow has told the North Gauteng High Court that he was 13 when he started using drugs and that he was on anti-depression medication his whole life.
The state says their decision to call the girl who was raped at a Dros Restaurant in Pretoria when she was seven years old, to testify, was the right call to make as the judge rejected Nicholas Ninow’s version that he acted impulsively.
Nicholas Ninow, who confessed to raping a seven-year old girl in a Dros restaurant in Pretoria in 2018, will learn his fate on Monday.
Judgment in the Dros Rape case will be delivered on Monday next week, this after the parties presented their closing arguments in the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday.
