Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain has retained its crown as “Africa’s Leading Tourist Attraction” at the World Travel Awards.
This is the fourth year in a row that the attraction has claimed the top spot. Managing Director for the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company, Wahida Parker, says the team is very proud of the achievement.
“To be the leading attraction four years in a row means that people have reaffirmed that what they voted in year one still holds true in year four. We went through a very bad patch with COVID but despite that, we didn’t lose our smile, we didn’t lose out visitor-centric behaviour and attitude.” adds Parker.
