Brockie was one of the most sought after players when he was still with Matsatsantsa, but found the going tough at Sundowns. He is currently on loan with Maritzburg United.

SuperSport United chairman Khulu Sibiya says former striker Jeremy Brockie is not welcomed back in the team.

The New Zealand International left the team to join PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns in a high-profile move in January 2018.

SuperSport United has been competing with the big boys in the league when it comes to winning trophies.

They have won the league title three times and also multiple trophies in the last few years. Sibiya says the team has a family-like environment.

The MTN8 Champions have not been without a sponsor since the petroleum company Engen ended their relationship with the Tshwane team at the beginning of the season. Sibiya says they are desperately looking for a sponsor.
