The visitors were first on the score-sheet through Andile Mbenyane in the first half.
The second half produced all the action as Bradley Grobler restored parity. That was before his striking partner, Thamsanqa Gabuza, gave the home side the lead with just seven minutes left on the clock.
However, Chippa were also not resting on their laurels; three minutes later, Maloisane Mokhele made it 2-2.
Matsatsantsa who have 16 points in eight outings, remain third on the standings, while the Chilli Boys are in 14th place with just 6 points from nine matches.
