The Brazilians are second on the log with 17 points from eight matches, five points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs who have played nine matches.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says they will be looking to close the gap on top when they travel to meet Baroka FC in a league match at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday night.

The Brazilians are second on the log with 17 points from eight matches, five points behind log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs, who have played nine matches.

The reigning PSL Champions lost their last league match against Amakhosi two weeks ago.

Uruguayan striker Mauricio Affonso is likely to start his second match for the league champions tonight.

He has already made an impact scoring three goals coming off the bench in five matches he has played. Mosimane says he is an important player for them. – Report by Vincent Sitsula
