Mamelodi Sundowns have taken control in their CAF Champions League second round tie after thrashing Cote d’Or of the Seychelles 5-nil on the road, in the first leg.
Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, used a second-string squad in this encounter with the likes of goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse, Motjeka Madisha, Tiyani Mabunda and Lyle Lakay in the starting line-up.
But despite using their fringe players, Sundowns were still too strong for the homeside.
Mabunda scored the first goal for Sundowns, with Wayne Arendse, and Lakay also on the score sheet.
