Mamelodi Sundowns need to score one goal without conceding to advance to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League when they host Angola’s Petro de Luanda at the FNB stadium on Saturday.

That might seem like a difficult task after the 2016 Champions lost the first leg of their quarter-final against the Angola side two-one last Saturday.

But Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi, believes his team will be able to overturn the 2-1 deficit in the second leg and advance to the next stage of Africa’s Premier club football competition.

Editorial note: Earlier we reported that Mamelodi Sundowns needs to score two goals without conceding to advance to the CAF Champions League semi-finals , that was incorrect. They need to score just one goal without conceding to advance.
