Mamelodi Sundowns have been knocked out of the CAF Champions League after sharing the spoils with Horoya AC from Guinea.

The two teams met at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville and both teams had plenty of chances to break the deadlock but all their efforts were unsuccessful.

Horoya and Wydad Athletic Club are the two teams that will advance to the quarterfinals stage of the Champions League from Group C.

The draw comes on the back of disappointing results against Cape Town City in the MTN8.

Cape Town City beat Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final at the Cape Town Stadium over the weekend.
