Mamelodi Sundowns have reduced Kaizer Chiefs’ lead on the top of the ABSA Premiership log to seven points.

Sundowns beat SuperSport United two-one in a nail-biting Tshwane Derby played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

In another ABSA Premiership match, Golden Arrows earned a valuable away point away from home.

They were held by Polokwane City to a one all draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The hosts, showed mental strength in the second half and scored the all important goal as both teams shared the spoils.
