The Azanian People’s Organisation (Azapo) President Jacob Dikobo says the African National Congress (ANC) should stop giving jobs to card carrying members of the ruling party.
He was speaking at Klipheuwel Village near Zebediela in Limpopo where he conducted a door to door electioneering campaign.
Residents also told him they get dirty water from their taps and are told that they cannot get jobs because they are not card carrying members of the ruling party.
Dikobo says he has raised the issue with President Jacob Zuma in Parliament before and he denied it.
“We don’t know what is happening why water is not purified because it will make people sick. People are getting SMSs to come and get jobs. We have raised this with the President and the he denied it. We are glad that young people here stand on principles they will not sell their souls and join the party because they want jobs but it can’t continue to happen,” says Dikobo.
