A stork has delivered two bundles of joy at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital on Wednesday morning.

Management and staff at the hospital expressed jubilation for being among those that delivered Christmas bundle of joys.

The two babies, a boy named Izwi and a girl named Nthabeleng, were arrived in the world just after midnight.

SABC spoke to the mothers of the new babies, Nomcebo Mothebe and Tumisang Mokgari and they expressed joy.

“I feel very special because on Christmas, we celebrate the birth of a king. So I believe that my child is destined for greatness. It felt so good, it’s overwhelming, [and] I wasn’t expecting this. I’m happy I don’t know what to say and was expecting the baby on January 9th,,” say the mothers.
