On Monday, Mlambo gave a detailed account of his site visits to various properties at which BOSASA had made security installations.

The Commission of Inquiry into State Capture is expected to continue hearing the testimony of its  investigator, Patrick Mlambo, when the public hearings resume in Parktown, Johannesburg on Monday morning.

The commission is also expected to hear the testimony of former Bosasa employee, Richard le Roux and Marijke de Kock of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

On Monday, Mlambo gave a detailed account of his site visits to various properties at which Bosasa had made security installations.

Mlambo said he was accompanied by former Bosasa employee Richard Le Roux to sites belonging to African National Congress (ANC) NEC chairperson Gwede Mantashe, former Correctional Services boss, Linda Mti and former South African Airways (SAA) board chairperson Dudu Myeni.

Judge Raymond Zondo said he was concerned that proper channels were not followed prior to the inspections.

He said the investigation team should consult with the commission’s legal team prior to inspections.
